

Surprisingly, years later, many of them became successful businessmen and their standard of living were very much higher than those managed or lucky to be given opportunity to serve in public sectors.
Therefore, with hindsight many of them should thank the government for rejecting them to join public sector and this indirectly gave them the spirit to fight hard to achieve their goals. Besides, jobs in private sector were more challenging and rewarding.
Datuk Seri Najib, Prime Minister of present BN government should re-examine recruitment policy whether it is still relevant and applicable. We are all 1Malaysia & sincerely hope to see more Bumiputra businessmen who are successful and able to compete with their own effort.
Spoon-fed people never grow up to be independent and with fighting spirit.
